Island Machining was established in May of 2005. In that time we have done work for industries such as, NASCAR race teams, Daytona prototype racecars, Heavy earth moving equipment, Utility Trailer manufactures, Motorcycle race team, rough cut lumber mill, and manufactures of water pumps, to name a few. We currently work with materials like, aluminum, aluminum bronze, stainless steel, steel, titanium, tungsten, acrylic and Delrin.
Island Machining is HubZone certified, and is a woman owned, small business. We have Haas, Doosan and DMG-Mori CNC mills, a Doosan Lynx 220 LMSA lathe with live tooling, a Samsung lathe with tailstock and barfeeders, as well as manual machines.
Thomas Fleming had over 35 years experience as a machinist. He also has a strong background in Mil-spec QC. He has done jobs for NASA, Boeing, Military and Medical.
He has held tolerances to .0002” dia. and .0005” true position.

CNC Turning Capability
3” dia. thru the spindle, 17” dia. max. Turn x 32” long Samsung SL-30 with barfeeder and tailstock
Dual spindle Doosan 220 LMSA lathe with live tooling and C axis 2”dia. thru the spindle with barfeeder
CNC Saw Cutting Capability
Cut solid materials up to 12 ¾” dia.
